Job summary

LT Support seeks a Student Learning Coach for a long‑term post with a Mid Essex college, based in Chelmsford. The role runs 37 hours per week across 38 weeks a year, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, starting September.

You will support students with SEND in a vocational environment, maintaining inclusive practice and working with staff at all levels. An Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required, with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS for working with Children on the update service.
• Previous experience of working with students with SEN.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Immediate availability.
• Be able to work 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday (cannot offer any flexibility on hours).
• Minimum Level 4 / C in Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent.

THE ROLE:

We are working with a College in Mid Essex who are seeking specialist Student Learning Coaches to join their college in ongoing posts. The role is supporting students with additional needs in a vocational learning environment for 16+. Role to start immediately.

Successful candidates will support learners with a range of SEND needs. You will be passionate about empowering young people towards independence and you will be confident to work with staff at all levels to advise and guide on inclusive practice.

The role is 37 hours per week and for 38 weeks a year.
