Job summary

LT Support seeks a Student Learning Coach for a long‑term post with a Mid Essex college, based in Chelmsford. The role runs 37 hours per week across 38 weeks a year, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, starting September.

You will support students with SEND in a vocational environment, maintaining inclusive practice and working with staff at all levels. An Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required, with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS for working with Children on the update service.
• Previous experience of working with students with SEN.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Immediate availability.
• Be able to work 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday (cannot offer any flexibility on hours).
• Minimum Level 4 / C in Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with a range of SEND needs in a vocational learning environment.
• Empower young people towards independence and inclusion.
• Collaborate with staff at all levels to advise and guide on inclusive practice.
