Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Bath is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with teachers, SENDCOs and pastoral teams to support students inside and outside the classroom.

You will provide 1:1 support, small group interventions, and assist with literacy, numeracy and overall student development, fostering wellbeing and independence. This role offers immediate opportunities in a secondary setting during term-time.

Learning Support Assistant

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENDCOs, and pastoral teams to support students both inside and outside the classroom.

You may provide:

  • 1:1 support for individual students.
  • Small group intervention sessions.
  • Support for students with SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
  • Behaviour and emotional wellbeing support.
  • Assistance with classroom activities to promote engagement and confidence.
  • Support with literacy, numeracy, and academic development.
  • Encouragement for students to become more independent learners.
