Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Learning Support Assistants to work with secondary pupils, helping their learning, development and confidence both inside and outside the classroom. We partner with local schools to provide high-quality education staff and career guidance.

We offer access to CPD Academy courses, such as safeguarding and autism awareness, plus tools like the myTP app to manage availability, view opportunities, and access payslips and timesheets.

Qualifications

• Previous school experience is welcomed but not essential.
• Experience in roles such as Sports Coach, Youth Worker, Children’s Entertainer or Party Host.
• Experience as a Children’s Mental Health Support Worker or Foster Carer is a plus.
• Volunteers in youth organisations, clubs or community groups (e.g. Scouts, Cubs, Brownies) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, development and confidence for secondary pupils.
• Assist teachers inside and outside the classroom.
• Help manage behaviour and pupil wellbeing with a positive approach.

Learning Support Assistant - Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to work with secondary-aged pupils, supporting their learning, development, and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
