Role and Responsibilities
  • Delivering catch‑up sessions
  • Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
  • Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place
  • The ability to challenge children when they display negative behaviour and become reluctant learners
  • Available to work Monday to Friday Term time only – hours of 8.30-3.30pm
Requirements
  • You will use your initiative, be well organised and pro‑active
  • A strong regard for pupil safety and wellbeing
  • Be a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or have other relevant experience (care, family member support, youth work etc)
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service OR the willingness to complete an immediate application
  • RTW in the UK and a fully checkable work history
