Central Bedfordshire College invites applications for an Additional Learning Support (ALS) Advisor based at Dunstable Kingsway Campus. You will work in the Foundation Learning and ALS department to tailor support plans for learners with SEND and ensure delivery supports achievement and independence.

You will mentor students, conduct progress reviews, advise staff on SEND strategies, and help maintain safeguarding, inclusivity and CPD standards across college sites.

Formación

• Level 2 English and maths with a relevant Level 3 qualification or working towards.
• Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and FE provision.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and share tailored support plans for learners with SEND.
• Provide ongoing mentoring and progress reviews to promote engagement and progression.
• Advise staff on SEND strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
• Conduct classroom observations to inform continuous improvement in teaching, learning and outcomes.
• Build relationships with students and staff, support safeguarding and CPD standards.
