Job summary

Bridgend College invites applications for a dedicated Success Hub Facilitator to support learners in our Success Hub, helping them engage in activities and manage literacy, numeracy and workload. The post is a fixed-term maternity cover, full time (37 hours per week, term time only), with salary scale 25-28 (£30,165 - £33,119 per annum pro rata), and DBS check and Welsh language considerations.

You will welcome learners, facilitate group discussions, monitor progress, and support their learning

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learners with literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to assist learners in organising workloads.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging and welcoming environment for learners in the Success Hub.
• Provide group or individual support to develop literacy and numeracy skills and workload management.
• Facilitate group discussions and monitor learner progress throughout the academic year.
• Support learners to actively participate in all hub activities and meet deadlines.
