Bridge Learning Campus invites applications for a hub co-ordinator to support students in the hub provision, offering a safe space to regulate and access learning. This permanent, term-time role (plus inset days) runs Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:30pm, with a salary range of £26,847–£27,274 FTE and a pro-rata actual rate.

Fluency in English is required. The post involves supervising hub operations, using co-regulation to help students manage emotions, supporting independent learning, and

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND pupils in a secondary setting.
• Excellent communication skills and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Patience, resilience and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Over-see the day-to-day operation of the hub provision under the SEND support manager.
• Use co-regulation to support students managing emotions and re-engage with learning.
• Support students to access and complete independent learning.
• Establish a calm environment with clear routines and behaviour expectations.
• Communicate with staff about engagement, work and concerns.
• Work with pupils including those with SEND to promote inclusion and positive behaviour.
• Supervise pupils during transitions, break times and non-classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support development and attend meetings.
• Promote safeguarding in line with school policies and requirements.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the SENDCo.
