Richmond upon Thames College is seeking a proactive Learning Resource Centre supervisor for the Richmond Campus. You will lead the Learning Resource Centre team, coordinate study skills and e-Resources training, and ensure a welcoming, resource-rich learning environment for 16–18 year olds and staff.
You will manage enquiries, support access to online resources, databases and print resources, and maintain strong communication across the college.

We are looking for a positive, pro-active team member to provide support to our students through the work of the College's Learning Resource Centres at our Richmond Campus.
You will play a key part in ensuring the Learning Resource Centre is a suitable learning environment at all times.
The role includes the supervision of Learning Resource Centre staff and the development of the centre to meet the needs of students and staff, and to support the Learning Resource Centre Manager. The post holder will coordinate the delivery of study skills and e-Resources training for students across the curriculum.
You will maintain and develop access to engaging, appropriate and relevant learning resources and learning spaces, meeting the needs of curriculum staff and supporting development of information literacy and study skills.
You will handle enquiries from students and staff on busy service desks and by email and telephone, and assist students on using online resources, databases and print resources.
Together with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, you should have good working knowledge of IT and experience gained in a busy, customer-focused environment. You will have the confidence to address young people aged 16-18 and manage behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London's most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old's and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years.
