Job summary

Capital City College in London is seeking a Learning Support Assistant Team Leader on a term-time basis (38 weeks) at 35 hours per week. The role includes line management of Learning Support staff and on-course support for students with learning difficulties or disabilities, in and around the college.

You will join a professional team committed to delivering high-quality support and an inclusive learning environment for students aged 14+. DBS checks apply as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in English, Maths or IT.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Clear and professional communication with students and staff.
• Confidence using systems and processes and good IT skills.
• Experience of working with learners with learning/behavioural difficulties and disabilities aged 14+.

About the Role

This role is offered on a term-time only, (38 weeks per year), permanent basis. You will be working 35 hours per week (full time).

• You will have a level 2 qualification or equivalent experience. Good general education in English, Maths and/or IT to level 2.

• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
