Job summary

Richmond upon Thames College is seeking a proactive Learning Resource Centre supervisor for the Richmond Campus. You will lead the Learning Resource Centre team, coordinate study skills and e-Resources training, and ensure a welcoming, resource-rich learning environment for 16–18 year olds and staff.

You will manage enquiries, support access to online resources, databases and print resources, and maintain strong communication across the college.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Good working knowledge of IT.
• Experience in a busy, customer-focused environment.
• Confidence with 16–18 year olds and ability to manage behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Learning Resource Centre staff and support the Centre Manager.
• Coordinate delivery of study skills and e-Resources training for students across the curriculum.
• Develop and maintain access to engaging learning resources and spaces to meet curriculum needs.
• Handle enquiries from students and staff at service desks, by email and telephone.
