Monarch Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Resource Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school in Salford. Working closely with teachers, support staff, and school leaders, you will play a key role in ensuring that learning resources, administrative processes, and student support systems run smoothly and effectively.

As a Learning Resource Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining curriculum resources, supporting teaching staff with administrative tasks, and ensuring that high-quality learning materials are readily available to support effective teaching and learning across the school.

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, maintain accurate records and databases, process departmental documentation, and support the efficient operation of the school’s learning resource provision. You will work closely with staff to ensure resources are accessible, up to date, and aligned with curriculum requirements.

A key aspect of the role will involve providing administrative support to curriculum areas, coordinating resource requests, managing stock levels, and helping to create an organised and productive learning environment for both staff and students. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential.

  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring student, departmental, and resource information is updated and stored in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the ordering, distribution, and stock control of learning resources and equipment, monitoring inventories and liaising with suppliers where required.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the school’s learning resource provision, responding to staff requests and prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure resources and administrative processes contribute positively to student learning and departmental effectiveness.
  • Assist with organising meetings, events, assessments, and school activities, preparing relevant documentation and resources as required.
  • Support the implementation of school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, and confidentiality procedures, helping to maintain a safe and professional working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, parents, and visitors, acting as a professional and approachable point of contact within the school.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the school by undertaking general administrative duties and supporting wider school priorities where required.
