Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Learning and Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to join a specialist team. You will support students with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD in a structured, nurturing environment during term-time hours.

The role involves working with small groups, implementing Trauma-Informed Practice, and assisting with EHCP/IEP plans to monitor progress and promote independence.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/5 or Level 2 equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs.
• 3–6 months of experience in an educational setting with challenging behaviours.
• A proactive, dedicated attitude and genuine commitment to student welfare.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Willingness to complete a full enhanced DBS check.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 16:30
