Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Learning and Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to help students thrive in a supportive, structured environment. You will support learners with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD, delivering trauma-informed activities and coordinating with teaching staff on plans.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 8:30–16:30 hours with term-time only scheduling. Strong commitment to student welfare and DBS clearance are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/5 or Level 2 equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs.
• 3 to 6 months of experience in an educational setting working with challenging behaviours.
• Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).
• Willingness to complete a full enhanced DBS check.
