Job summary

Randstad Staffing in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Learning and Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant. You will support students with SEMH, autism and ADHD in a structured environment, focusing on learning and pastoral care.

The role involves term-time hours, 8:30–16:30, with holidays off. You will work with teachers on IEP/EHCP plans and track progress while fostering a safe, positive setting through restorative practices.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/5 or Level 2 equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs.
• 3 to 6 months of experience in an educational setting working with challenging behaviours.
• A proactive, dedicated attitude and a genuine commitment to student welfare.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• Willingness to complete a full enhanced DBS check.

What You Will Be Doing
