Aspire People is recruiting Learning Mentors for partner schools in South Birmingham. This role supports pupils, guides their learning and helps teachers achieve progression and success.
You will work with mixed ability groups across multiple year levels, including children with high SEND needs. You will mark, plan and deliver set work, maintain behaviour, and liaise with SLT, parents and external agencies as required.

Ever worked in support work and considered working in education?
Can you ne the person that can mediate, have difficult conversations and relate to any issues the children may be going through?
This role is working as a mentor for mixed ability children within all school years so experience of working with multiple age groups is necessary, the schools have high SEND averages so ultimately you must be willing to work with children who will need more support. You will also need to mark, plan, and deliver any work that is set, and this will be reflected upon pay.
The school have a great support network including their SLT, the children are welcoming and friendly, and all the children are a pleasure to work with.
