Aspire People is recruiting a Learning Mentor for a welcoming primary school in the Birmingham area. The role involves supporting pupils with learning, behaviour, social and emotional needs to build confidence and resilience in the classroom.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support across year groups, work closely with teachers and pastoral teams, monitor progress and wellbeing, and promote positive behaviour and attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, youth work, mentoring or support role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable but not essential.

Are you a caring, patient and supportive individual looking to make a real difference in children's lives?

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in the B14 area. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils who may need additional help with their learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and confidence within the classroom environment.

The Role
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils across different year groups.
