Job summary

MidKent College is seeking a part-time Education Support role to plan and deliver targeted workshops for students with additional learning needs. You will work with ALS/Enhance and other college teams to provide a wide range of activities aimed at supporting EHCP students, enabling better independence and access to College facilities.

This maternity cover runs until April 2027. The role is 29.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, and salary is pro rata to reflect hours worked.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver organised workshops to students with learning needs, informing by students' needs across subject areas such as exam skills, social skills, independence, employability, study and life skills.
• Collaborate with ALS/Enhance Team Leaders, Programme Coordinators, Transition Coordinators and Enrichment Team to plan and deliver extra-curricular activities for students with EHCPs to meet outcomes and aid transitions, retention and achievement.
