Job summary

Outwood Academy Freeston in Normanton, Wakefield, is seeking a Learning Manager to champion student welfare, intervene strategically, and monitor progress using data-driven methods. You will support a designated year group and collaborate with external agencies to remove barriers to learning.

You will track attendance, behaviour, and attainment, lead case conferences, prepare referrals, and report on interventions.

Qualifications

• Extremely well organised with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead by example and collaborate with the Inclusion Team and external agencies.
• Experience in monitoring student welfare, behaviour, attendance and attainment.
• Data-driven approach to intervene and track progress across a year group.

Responsibilities

• Support designated year group to maximise attainment using data and strategic interventions.
• Monitor students academically and behaviourally; work with Inclusion Team and Vice Principal for Deep Support.
• Attend case conferences and prepare referrals/reports for students needing intervention.
• Engage with parents and external agencies in a professional, confidential manner.
