Job summary

Nottingham Community Housing Association is seeking a Learning Disability Support Worker to provide one-to-one care for adults with learning disabilities. You will support personal care, outings, budgeting, and daily living activities, under supervison and with full training provided.

The role requires compassion, reliability and a person-centred approach within a welcoming and inclusive team at our Nottingham home.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, reliable and values-driven individual.
• Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential; full training and ongoing support are provided.
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to customers with varying levels of need.
• Assist with personal care, day trips out, financial aid and activities.
• Administer medication and support health appointments.
• Encourage engagement in learning opportunities and daily tasks.
• Follow written instructions accurately and communicate professionally.
