Job summary

Nottingham Community Housing Association Ltd is seeking a Learning Disability Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live independently in Sutton-in-Ashfield. Salary is £24,871–£25,371 per year with training and development opportunities.

You will work as part of a caring team, providing personal care, social activities and support in a supportive, inclusive home environment. Full-time hours across a rotating shift pattern are available.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and daily activities.
• Administering medication as required with proper training.
• Assist with visits to health appointments, day trips and activities.
• Provide emotional support and encourage engagement in learning opportunities.
• Assist with domestic tasks and using accessibility equipment as needed.
