Cardiff Council’s Learning Disability Services are recruiting to lead the Learning Disability Review Team, combining practice leadership with quality assurance and staff development to ensure timely, strengths-based assessments and reviews.

You will organise work, provide supervision, and support staff with complex cases while collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to improve service delivery and independence for people with learning disabilities.

Formación

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Care Wales (HCPC).
• Proven ability to lead, develop and supervise staff.
• Experience delivering timely, strengths-based assessments and reviews.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional ethics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Learning Disability Review Team and oversee case reviews.
• Organise and allocate work, provide oversight and authorisation.
• Support staff with complex assessments, reviews and meetings.
• Supervise, guide and develop staff skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with the wider management team to improve processes.
