Job summary

SDR is seeking a Clinical Lead (RNLD/RGN) to provide clinical leadership across our supported living and residential services for adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Health Needs. Based at the Brighton Head Office with travel across East and West Sussex, the role combines clinical leadership, quality improvement and direct support to services.

Qualifications

  • Qualified RN with current NMC registration (RNLD or RGN)
  • Experience in learning disabilities, autism, or complex health needs
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead health assessments and develop person-centred Health Action Plans
  • Monitor health changes and respond promptly to needs
  • Support senior team in managing health needs across LD services
  • Prepare clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Attend reviews and contribute to care planning
  • Provide specialist clinical support for complex needs (e.g., epilepsy)
  • Collaborate with GPs and LD teams to coordinate care
  • Offer clinical guidance and mentoring to care teams
  • Promote safeguarding and clinical best practice
  • Ensure high-quality person-centred care and outcomes
