Job summary

Keys Group is seeking an experienced Support Worker for a brand-new supported living service in Paignton. You will help individuals with learning disabilities live more independently and work toward personal goals, supporting daily routines and personal care with dignity.

Applicants with learning disabilities care experience are encouraged; flexibility and teamwork are essential to collaborate with families and professionals to deliver tailored support and life skill development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with people who have learning disabilities is essential.
• Experience in supported living or residential care environments is preferred.
• Must be compassionate and person-centered in approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines to promote independence.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support health and wellbeing, including appointments and medication management.
• Help individuals develop budgeting, shopping, bills and other life skills.
• Encourage social engagement and emotional resilience.
• Assist with light domestic tasks and a safe living environment.
• Work with care plans and goals in collaboration with the support network.
