Job description

Due to high demand, we are recruiting dedicated and experienced Learning Disabilities Support Workers to assist vulnerable adults with varying degrees of learning disabilities. These roles are available across multiple locations, including Bognor Regis, Chichester, Lewes, and Polegate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  2. Assist in managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive outcomes.
  3. Work in various settings, including residential homes, day services, and supported living environments.
  4. Engage with individuals using a consistent, patient, and empathetic approach, maintaining safe boundaries.
Shift Patterns:

We offer flexible shift patterns that can be tailored to your preferences, including:

  1. Monday to Sunday shifts
  2. Early shifts, late shifts, long days, and waking nights or sleep-ins

You can choose how much or how little you work, allowing you to balance work with other commitments. Continuity is essential in these roles, and many of our current staff value the flexibility we offer.

Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  2. Strong communication, emotional resilience, and the ability to build rapport with these vulnerable adults.
