The London Borough of Newham is recruiting a Social Worker for the Learning Disabilities Team 25+. You will join a busy frontline ASC environment, managing a varied caseload and working closely with a range of professionals. A current SWE registration and ASYE completion are required, with at least 2 years post-qualifying experience.

You will work to deliver high-quality, person-centred services in a supportive team, with opportunities for progression, training and flexible/hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualifying social work experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Attention to detail and safe practice in Care Act 2014 and MCA/CoP.

Responsabilités

• Undertake ASC/social work interventions including assessments, reviews and safeguarding.
• Case management and liaison with Court of Protection and multi‑agency partners.
• Deliver person-centred, strength-based approaches for Learning Disabilities 25+.
