Job summary

Altogether Care is seeking a Learning & Development Trainer to deliver engaging training across Salisbury, Bath, Hampshire and surrounding areas. This role is part-time (3 days) with potential to increase, and pays £14.35–£15.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will support colleagues, manage LMS resources, and contribute to best practice and compliance across services.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care.
• Hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or be willing to work towards it.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across service areas in the South of England.
• Strong IT skills and comfortable using digital learning systems.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual training across our services.
• Support colleagues to develop their skills, confidence and competence.
• Work with managers to identify learning needs and support competency assessments.
• Help manage our Learning Management System and digital learning resources.
• Promote best practice, compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Encourage teams to grow, develop and deliver exceptional care for clients and families.

The Role

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll:

• Have experience working in health and social care
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
• Be willing to travel across our service areas
• Have strong IT skills and be comfortable using digital learning systems
• Enjoy engaging and motivating others
• Understand the importance of quality, compliance and person-centred care
• Be committed to keeping up to date with changing regulations, best practice and innovations in social care
• Hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), PTTLS, or be willing to work towards it with our support
