Altogether Care is seeking a Registered Manager to lead the Bath team, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance across Bath and North Somerset. The role focuses on managing the Registered Office and Local Offices, driving person-centred support for people with learning disabilities.

You will oversee staff, ensure safe, compliant services, and lead service expansion while maintaining strong relationships with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Current or pending Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification.
• Previous management experience in learning disability services.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Sound knowledge of CQC fundamental standards.
• Full UK driving licence and car.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commitment to person-centred, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the Registered Office and Local Offices.
• Lead services for people with learning disabilities to ensure person-centred care.
• Support staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.

We’re seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our Bath team, ensuring outstanding quality of care, compliance, and compassionate support for all those we serve. Based in our registered office in Bath you'll be required to manage the team across Bath and North Somerset.

Working Hours

40 hours per week.

• Salary £38,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

About the role

What will YOU be doing

• To take overall responsibility for the day to day running of the business within the Registered Office and (where in operation), the designated Local Offices.
• Lead and manage services supporting people with learning disabilities, ensuring care and support is person-centred, inclusive and promotes independence, choice and wellbeing.
• Use your experience of learning disability services to support staff teams in delivering safe, effective and high-quality care.
• Manage and Lead following CQC guidance and maintaining compliance around key regulations.
• To promote high standards of professional practice, which recognise the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the clients receiving community care services.
• To be mindful of the strategic and commercial interests of the business and to take the lead in promoting its services and supporting its expansion plans.
• To ensure that each client receives care appropriate to their individual needs and in accordance with their Care and Support Plan.
• To oversee community placements for Local Authority, NHS and self funding clients, live-in services and temporary staff placement.
• To ensure compliance with the policies and procedures are followed

What do YOU need?

• Currently holding or working towards a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Previous management experience within learning disability services is essential.
• Managerial experience
• Have a good track record of working in the care sector
• Be able to demonstrate good knowledge of CQC fundamental standards
• A Can - Do Attitude
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Excellent communication skills
• Have a passion for supporting older people within the community
• Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, Clients and their families
