Job summary

Reed is seeking a People Development Manager in Dundee, a hybrid role with travel across Scotland. You will head the Learning & Development function, shaping the L&D strategy and delivery across technical, advisory, management and leadership skills.

You will lead the HL Academy, oversee a structured trainee programme, manage onboarding and drive culture, engagement and leadership development while partnering with stakeholders to ensure high-quality learning that supports firm goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, designing and delivering L&D initiatives.
• Experience conducting training needs analysis with a commercial focus.
• Ability to create and work with blended learning solutions.
• Confidence liaising with stakeholders and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver practical learning solutions aligned to the firm\'s 5-year strategy.
• Review and improve content; introduce new approaches and tools to stay current.
• Lead HL Academy development and gather feedback.
• Oversee a structured trainee programme with clear development pathways.
• Deliver a structured onboarding experience for new joiners.
• Develop succession and mentorship programs for high-potential employees.
• Design culture and engagement learning to embed firm values.
• Support managers with coaching and leadership development.
• Collaborate on training needs analysis with the Head of People.
• Manage LMS and performance systems and use data to continuously improve.
