Job summary

Foundry is seeking a Learning & Development Partner to join our People team. Reporting to the People Director, you will sustain, refine and evolve our core L&D offering, fostering a culture of continuous learning and delivering measurable development initiatives across the business.

You will own end-to-end L&D operations, partner with global teams, manage budgets, curate resources, and design internal programmes to prepare Foundry for its 2030 vision and future growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a dedicated Learning & Development role.
• Experience designing core L&D programmes for hybrid/global teams.
• Experience sourcing and managing external training vendors.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Interest in upskilling/reskilling for emerging tech like AI.
• Ability to analyse data to inform L&D strategy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine existing L&D initiatives – mentoring, Guilds, management training and People Skills resources; identify opportunities for simplification and automation.
• Assess L&D needs and recommend external training partners to deliver targeted learning content that builds internal capability.
• Own end-to-end logistics for all L&D initiatives, including scheduling, communications, venues and coordination with external partners.
• Curate high-quality internal and external learning resources mapped to our People Skills Framework to empower self-directed development.
• Manage the L&D budget with the People Director, prioritising critical needs and identifying cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain and improve L&D content and resources, including Confluence pages; ensure documentation is current and engaging.
• Design and deliver internal L&D programmes to address organisational needs.
• Partner with People Directors to identify learning needs across the business and map to 2030 vision.
• Ensure employees have effective development plans supported by L&D resources and programmes.
• Develop metrics to evaluate ROI and impact of L&D programmes.
• Deliver engaging internal communications to promote L&D resources and drive participation.
