Cheshire West and Chester is seeking a passionate Learning and Development Officer; Practice Model to shape how practitioners learn, develop and practice. The role sits within Children’s Services and blends design, delivery and evaluation of learning that supports a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.

You’ll work with partners to design engaging programmes, evaluate impact and anticipate future learning needs, ensuring the Practice Model is applied consistently across services.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning and development, training, workforce development or a related field.
• Knowledge of how adults learn and how to create engaging learning experiences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience identifying learning needs and evaluating impact.
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence across teams and organisations.

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver engaging learning and development programmes.
• Create evidence-informed training content through a trauma-informed and systemic lens.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Analyse feedback, learning outcomes and workforce development needs.
• Support practice development events, forums and networking opportunities.
• Help drive continuous improvement and innovation across children’s services.
