We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to design, implement, and evaluate training programmes that support employee growth, performance improvement, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning, experienced in talent development, and capable of aligning learning initiatives with business goals.
This newly established L&D function is essential for supporting the ongoing growth and future development of our employees and colleagues.
Key responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, developing training content, facilitating workshops, and maintaining training records. The role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs and support skill development and employee growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Learning and Development Manager
- Develop and execute the company's learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
- Conduct skills gap analysis and training needs assessments to identify development opportunities across the organization.
- Design, implement, and manage engaging training programmes for all levels within the organization.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics, and continuously improve programmes based on insights.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to support leadership development, onboarding, and career progression.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS), ensuring timely updates and accurate tracking of training records.
- Stay updated with learning trends, tools, and technologies to innovate and enhance L&D offerings.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and consultants as needed.
- Support diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives through inclusive learning practices.
Key Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required
- Previous experience in L&D, HR, or training roles is essential, especially in a newly created position with autonomy.
- Experience in training design, content development, and skills gap analysis.
- Skills in facilitating workshops, delivering presentations, and training delivery.
- Ability to evaluate training programmes and provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent project management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth organizations (preferred).
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms, microlearning, and data analytics in L&D.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in learning management systems and training tools.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively is crucial.
