Learning & Development Manager | Poole | £45,000

Design, lead, and embed a learning culture that develops people, drives performance, and supports long-term business growth.

We're partnering with a values-led organisation investing heavily in its people agenda. With further growth on the horizon and a strong focus on people development, they're seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to take full ownership of their training strategy - designing, delivering, and evolving learning programmes across the business.

You'll be the central figure in building out a scalable, engaging, and effective approach to learning . From creating leadership pathways and graduate schemes to implementing a new Learning Management System , you'll play a pivotal role in developing talent and supporting succession.

Reporting into the Chief People Officer, this is a broad, hands-on position ideal for someone passionate about people development and business impact.

As Learning & Development Manager , you'll:

* Own the design, management, and continuous development of the companies learning & development vision

* Deliver a business-aligned training strategy with engaging, accessible programmes across all levels

* Build and manage a modular leadership and management development plan focused on soft skills and mid-level leadership

* Design and deliver workshops, toolkits, and resources that upskill employees and promote a learning culture

* Lead the rollout and ownership of a new Learning Management System (LMS)

* Oversee the L&D budget and track ROI , ensuring commercial value from all initiatives

* Support succession planning and workforce capability through skills gap analysis and training

* Champion graduate and apprentice development - from onboarding to qualification and beyond

* Be the central point of contact for all L&D initiatives, providing partnership across the People & Culture function

As Learning & Development Manager you'll bring:

* Proven experience in an L&D role at Advisor or Manager level

* Strong facilitation and instructional design skills across a range of formats (e-learning, workshops, on-the-job training)

* The ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the business

* Experience managing budgets and evaluating the impact of training

* HR generalist experience (ideally at Business Partner level) and a collaborative mindset

* A commercial and data-led approach to learning, always focused on impact
