Job summary

Thompson Smith and Puxon LLP (TSP) is seeking a proactive Learning and Development professional to drive capability, continuing competence and career development across the firm in Colchester. This role will collaborate with Team Leaders, lawyers and support functions to identify learning needs, develop plans and monitor impact.

The position offers involvement in graduate recruitment, trainee development and professional accreditations.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning and development, training, graduate recruitment or related people role.
• Proactive with ability to identify needs and drive actions.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify current and future skills and capability requirements.
• Develop and maintain a firm-wide learning plan aligned to priorities.
• Manage Learning and Development budgets.
• Coordinate LawNet learning and engagement.
• Oversee induction, mandatory training and compliance.
• Support graduate recruitment and trainee development.
