Job summary

Forth Ports is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor to develop skills, capability and future talent across the workforce. You will partner with managers, identify learning needs and design effective development solutions, while leading a small team of two L&D Coordinators.

You will contribute to early careers, apprenticeships and continuous learning, with a focus on data-driven decisions and high-quality learning outcomes, primarily from the office with some home-working flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Training or Talent Development.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Full UK Working Rights.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and managers, identifying learning needs across the organisation.
  • Lead and manage L&D projects including training needs analysis, programme design, supplier selection and implementation.
  • Source, evaluate and manage external training providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop, update and enhance learning content and training programmes to meet objectives.
  • Review and redesign existing training materials to keep content engaging and fit for purpose.
  • Upload, maintain and administer learning content across online platforms.
  • Introduce innovative digital and online learning solutions to support development.
  • Produce management information via Excel and PowerPoint to track activity and KPIs.
  • Manage and develop a team of two L&D Coordinators.
