Job summary

Capita's Learning and Development team in Gosport is hiring a Learning and Development Advisor/Coordinator to support Royal Navy personnel at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth. You will provide guidance on L&D pathways, promote funded opportunities, and help learners access education across a range of media.

The role requires UK security clearance (SC), strong communication, planning, and MS Office skills, with opportunities to develop further qualifications and contribute to resettlement guidance.

Qualifications

• Provide ongoing L&D advice to Service Personnel.
• Promote access to funded external learning opportunities including e-learning.
• Organise L&D events and maintain education records in JPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing learning and development advice to Service Personnel throughout their careers.
• Promote and support access to funded external learning opportunities, including e-learning.
• Find new ways to promote LDO Hub services using a range of media and materials.
• Work with LDO colleagues to deliver L&D interviews, schedule Hub events, and support learners.
• Provide learning resources and maintain accurate education records in JPA.
• Coordinate and approve learning credit schemes for eligible learners.
• Organise, promote, and deliver annual L&D open days and unit-level briefings.
• Raise awareness of Resettlement support and provide 2nd Line Resettlement guidance in line with policy.
