Lead Scotland seeks a part-time Learning Coordinator to promote and deliver the Perth and Kinross Digital Skills Project. This role supports digitally excluded adults, including carers and disabled people, helping them access learning and digital services.
You will work from your home base in Perth & Kinross, travel to learners’ homes across the rural area, and contribute to personalised learning journeys while ensuring PVG clearance is achieved.
We seek a part time (21 hours per week) Learning Coordinator to promote and deliver Lead Scotland’s Perth and Kinross Digital Skills Project. This is a learning service for digitally excluded people, including disabled people, carers and those who experience barriers.
We are looking for someone to promote and deliver Lead’s Adult Carers Digital Project in Fife. This is a learning service for carers aged 16 through to older adulthood who lack digital skills or who experience barriers when engaging with technology. The successful applicant will be: Engaging and supporting unpaid carers to overcome barriers and embark on personalised learning journeys, building skills and confidence with using digital and online services to achieve their personal aims and ambitions. Being an active part of the Lead Scotland team in Perth & Kinross. Working from your home base in Perth & Kinross, access to transport is essential to travel to homes and communities across this rural area. It involves regulated work for which a satisfactory PVG will be required.
You will be passionate about the transformative power of adult learning, have excellent communication skills, and a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving. You will have great organisational skills and previous experience of supporting disabled people experiencing a range of barriers, of working one-to-one with learners, and of designing and delivering learning programmes. Holding an Assessors Award will be advantageous.
