Job summary

Lancashire Adult Learning seeks an enthusiastic, learner-centred teacher to deliver accessible introductory and first steps digital skills programmes across community venues. The role is based at our Lancashire Adult Learning site with travel to community venues as required.

We welcome experienced practitioners or newly qualified teachers; a digital specialism is desirable but not essential. The post supports progression into further learning and employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher or newly qualified teacher
• Digital skills teaching desirable but not essential
• Experience delivering accessible introductory digital skills programs

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and first steps digital skills programs.
• Support progression to Lancashire Adult Learning provision.
• Plan and prepare high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop practical digital skills using devices and online services.
• Monitor attendance, achievement and progression.
• Assess learning and provide feedback.
• Provide tutorial and pastoral support.
• Maintain learner records in College systems.
• Contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development.
• Prepare learners for accreditation where applicable.
