Job summary

Gunnersbury Park & Museum seeks a Learning Assistant to join the Learning Team on a casual, zero-hours basis. The role runs during school term times within a 34-week year and may include additional days in school holidays.

You will deliver museum and park-based workshops to visiting school groups. Ideal candidates have a drama/creative arts background, experience with children, strong communication/presenting skills, and familiarity with delivering workshops in a museum or heritage setting.

Qualifications

• Drama/creative arts background and experience with children.
• Strong communication and presenting skills for workshops.
• Experience delivering workshops in museums, galleries or heritage environments.
• Ideal: experience as a costumed character.

Responsibilities

• Deliver museum and park-based workshops to visiting school groups.
