Job summary

Barnsley Museums, part of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, is seeking Relief Learning Assistants to support learning programmes across venues. You’ll work with schools, families and communities, delivering workshops and activities to raise attainment and engagement.

We value dedication, organisation, and excellent communication. Hours are variable, including evenings and weekends, and DBS checks are required for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Level 1 qualification and proven experience in educational settings.
• Ability to work with diverse audiences including children and young people.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Schools, Family Learning and Community programmes across Barnsley Museums’ venues.
• Work with groups including schools, Early Years Foundation Stage, families and community groups.
• Deliver schools activities and family/community workshops as required.
