Job summary

Banstead Prep is seeking a warm, positive Learning Assistant to support children from Reception to Year 6 during term time. The fixed-term role is 37.5 hours per week across 35 weeks, with a pro rata salary and a 2026 pay award pending.

You will help in classrooms, support individuals and small groups, join trips and school events, and contribute to learning, wellbeing and enrichment while supporting wraparound care provision.

£19,916.61 pro rata (FTE £25,718.00) with a 2026 pay award pending

Learning Assistant – Fixed Term
Term Time (35 Weeks) | 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday

As our whole-school Learning Assistant, you’ll be supporting children from Reception to Year 6, stepping into classrooms, helping individuals and small groups, joining trips, and being part of the events and activities that make school life so exciting. We are looking for someone who is:
