Job summary

Pegasus Opera Company is entering a new phase: returning to national touring, building partnerships across the UK and taking our Learning & Participation work beyond London.

We are looking for a confident and creative project manager with a music background who can shape this next chapter, leading excellent participatory work and reaching communities who are underrepresented in opera, while supporting artists and practitioners to deliver high-quality activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead participatory music projects and Learning & Participation work across the UK.
• Coordinate freelance music leaders, facilitators and project practitioners.
• Develop meaningful partnerships with communities, partner organisations and artists.

Job description

Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Reports to: Executive Director
Works closely with: Artistic Director, project leads, partner organisations and freelance practitioners
Responsible for: Freelance music leaders, facilitators and project practitioners
Location: Brixton, London, with Wednesday in office as collaborative working day and regular national travel as projects develop
Working pattern: Full time; some evening and weekend work will be required
