Job description

The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is recruiting a Programme Manager, Communities to join LSO Discovery, its learning and community programme. The role supports strategic work in community and health settings, and at LSO St Luke’s, managing projects across Early Years, Inclusive and Creative Health strands. Responsibilities include project management, artist and partner liaison, event delivery, evaluation, budgeting, marketing support, and fundraising assistance.

Candidates require a minimum of five years’ relevant professional experience, preferably in an arts organisation, experience managing participatory projects, knowledge of safeguarding practice, and knowledge of classical music and orchestras.

The position is full-time and permanent, based at the Barbican Centre with hybrid working.

Salary: £33,000–£36,000.
The closing date for applications is 12.00 pm on Friday, 08 May 2026.
