Connect2Dudley is seeking a Learning and Organisational Development Practitioner to join the Talent and Development team on a full-time interim basis. Based at St James's House, Dudley, with hybrid working and delivery across the borough, the role focuses on strengthening leadership capability and culture as the council undergoes transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering leadership, management and organisational development interventions.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• Solutions-focused approach to respond to evolving organisational priorities.
• Experience supporting workforce development in a complex organisational environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• A coaching qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver leadership and management development programmes aligned to organisational priorities.
• Facilitate core management development interventions and priority training programmes.
• Support delivery of corporate induction and wider employee development activity.
• Contribute to organisational development initiatives that support culture, values and transformation.
• Undertake learning needs analysis and commission or design solutions to meet service requirements.
• Deliver and support coaching activity as part of the organisation's coaching offer.
• Collaborate across services to support workforce development and engagement initiatives.
• Evaluate impact and continuously improve learning provision.

Contract Type: Interim (3 months initially)

Hours / Grade: Full-Time / Grade 9

Day Rate: 160.21 PAYE or 209.57 Umbrella

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Learning & Organisational Development Practitioner to join our Talent and Development team on a full-time interim basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting organisational priorities during a period of transformation, helping to strengthen leadership capability, workforce performance and organisational culture across the Council.

Key Responsibilities:

• Potential to design, develop and deliver leadership and management development programmes aligned to organisational priorities.


• Facilitate core management development interventions, including priority training programmes.


• Support delivery of corporate induction and wider employee development activity.


• Contribute to organisational development initiatives that support culture, values and transformation.


• Undertake learning needs analysis and commission or design solutions to meet service requirements.


• Deliver and support coaching activity as part of the organisation's internal coaching offer.


• Work collaboratively across services to support workforce development and engagement initiatives.


• Evaluate impact and continuously improve learning and organisational development provision.

What We're Looking For:
