Inspire is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join our People & Development team and support the delivery of high‑quality, future‑focused learning across the organisation.

Why This Role Matters

As an L&D Specialist, you’ll help shape and deliver a wide range of learning initiatives that support staff development, organisational capability, and high‑quality service delivery. You’ll work collaboratively across teams, harness new technologies (including AI), and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

Deliver & Enhance Learning
  • Support the design, development and delivery of impactful L&D interventions.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes, ensuring relevance, quality and accessibility.
  • Drive innovative approaches to learning, including digital and technology‑assisted delivery.
Use Technology to Transform L&D
  • Utilise systems such as Cascade, SharePoint, MS Teams and AI‑enabled tools to enhance access, efficiency and engagement in learning.
  • Support with the creation and maintenance of digital learning content.
Support Organisational Processes
  • Maintain accurate organisational L&D records, training matrices and reporting.
  • Contribute to L&D policy, process development and quality assurance.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance requirements related to L&D.
Work With Stakeholders
  • Advise and support managers and staff across the organisation on all aspects of L&D.
  • Represent the L&D function at internal meetings.
  • Support student placements, apprenticeships and professional development pathways.
Coaching & Induction
  • Provide coaching to individuals and line managers to embed learning into practice.
  • Support the delivery of tailored induction programmes and induction processes.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • A third‑level qualification in Human Resources, Health & Social Care, or related discipline plus 1 year of experience in Training, L&D, OD or HR
  • OR
  • 2 years’ experience working in Training, L&D, OD or HR.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience designing and delivering high‑quality training.
  • Strong IT capability, including SharePoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver effective outcomes.
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with learners and stakeholders.
Circumstances
  • A full driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required).
  • Flexibility to work across locations in Ireland, including evenings and weekends.
