Purpose of the role

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team at our Solihull Head Office (B37 7YB), with UK travel required. You will be responsible for delivering our training strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth across all levels of the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence learning initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance capability and career development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize training needs with business leaders.
  • Coordinate and manage daily training requests and maintain accurate training records.
  • Support the implementation of the L&D strategy in partnership with the Talent Development Manager.
  • Design and deliver bespoke leadership and management development programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness to assess ROI and ROE.
  • Manage relationships with training providers, including contract and SLA negotiations.
  • Support apprenticeship and graduate programs, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Assist with audits and budget reviews related to training activities.
  • Maintain training matrices and ensure alignment with the Learning Management System.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development.
  • Proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role.
  • Strong understanding of the full learning cycle and talent development strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes, funding, and industry training standards (desirable).
  • Experience in the construction or industrial sector (advantageous).
