Job summary

GMPF, the Greater Manchester Pension Fund, is looking for a Learning and Development Officer to design and deliver impactful learning that builds capability across the workforce. You will support recruitment, onboarding and development of new colleagues, drive continuous improvement of learning processes, and collaborate with your manager and team to deliver a professional service.

The role is permanent, 36 hours per week, based at Guardsman Tony Downes House in Droylsden, with flexible hybrid

As a Learning and Development Officer, you will:
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new colleagues: Assist with recruitment tasks, and with all work that ensures effective recruitment, induction, and ongoing training.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Review and suggest enhancements to our learning and development processes, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively: Work closely with your manager and team to deliver an excellent and professional service to all our stakeholders.
  • Excel as a team player: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, manage your time efficiently, and proactively develop your digital and administrative capabilities.
