Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to support the delivery of effective learning and employee experience initiatives. The role involves coordinating learning interventions, managing attendance, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring training compliance across the organisation.

The position is hybrid/remote with regular travel to HUBS, based in the South of England and London regions.

Qualifications

  • Experience or understanding of learning and development and the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong organisation and administrative skills.
  • Based in or near the operating region (Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, London) or willing to travel to HUBS.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of effective employee experience and organisational learning interventions that support transformation strategy.
  • Coordinate leader and colleague learning interventions, liaising with suppliers or SMEs, sending invites, maintaining attendance registers and tracking responses.
  • Coordinate essential and mandatory compliance training as determined by the job role.
  • Maintain all training records in the talent management system as required.
  • Formally report training performance and compliance to relevant groups across the business.
  • Support digitisation of the learning offer and reporting capability through Learn, helping EE&OL maximise.
  • Maintain data on leadership engagement with development.
  • Track expenditure on Learning and Experience budgets.
  • Share ownership of the team inbox and manage associated calendars.
  • Support the wider EE&OL team in delivering effective employee experience and organisational learning interventions.
  • Work closely with the EE Co-ordinator to coordinate all EE&OL activity.

Overview

Learning and Development Coordinator (Hybrid / Remote) – £28,077 per annum – Reference: 5301054

We are looking for a candidate to support the delivery of effective learning, providing support and assistance to colleagues on a daily basis. You will ideally have strong organisation and admin skills and have an understanding of learning and development and the employee lifecycle.

Locations

Suitable candidates will be based in or close by our operating region which includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London. Flexible and home working available with regular travel to our HUBS for team days.
