Job summary

Guardian Jobs partner is seeking a Learning, Development and Education (LD&E) Coordinator to join the People and Culture team for a care-focused organisation in the South West. The role is hybrid, with home-based work and hospice site activity, and carries a salary of £27,808–£30,815 per year.

You will coordinate LD&E activities, manage schedules and bookings, liaise with providers and venues, and maintain training records.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a busy administrative or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a care or similar environment is an advantage, though not essential.

  • Coordinate resources, materials and equipment needed for training events.
  • Act as first point of contact for learning and development enquiries.
  • Support the organisation and administration of learning events, workshops and meetings.
  • Ensure all activities align with organisational policies, procedures and budget parameters.

About Our Client

Our client provides care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They're looking for an organised and proactive Learning, Development and Education (LD&E) Coordinator to join their People and Culture team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and coordination skills who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work closely with the Head of Learning, Development and Education to keep learning provision well organised, compliant and responsive to the needs of the workforce. Your main base will be one of the Hospice sites, with some home-working and occasional travel to other South West locations as required.
