Job summary

The Talent World is looking for a proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to help shape our training strategy and embed a culture of continuous learning. This office-based role currently focuses on coordinating learning activities, maintaining records and ensuring compliance, with potential for future hybrid work.

You will manage LMS courses, create training materials, analyse learning needs and work with managers to close skills gaps.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Learning & Development, Training Coordination or HR role.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Experience creating or improving training materials.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain training records, ensuring compliance and consistency across the organisation.
  • Set up and administer LMS courses and monitor completion rates.
  • Develop and improve training content, expanding the company's learning library.
  • Coordinate training activities, ensuring qualifications, certifications and skills remain up to date.
  • Create training plans to support business growth and future workforce requirements.
  • Support the ongoing development and utilisation of UKG.
  • Design and deliver toolbox talks, promoting best practice across the business.
  • Partner with managers to conduct skills gap analyses and identify development opportunities.
  • Support employees with the effective use of the LMS platform.
  • Source and coordinate external training providers, ensuring high-quality delivery and positive learner feedback.
  • Review and update training programmes in line with feedback and business needs.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses to identify current and future capability requirements.Evaluate training effectiveness through attendance data, completion rates, feedback and learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant and aligned to operational needs.
  • Maintain training matrices, refresher schedules and reporting to support compliance, audits and succession planning.
  • Help foster a culture of continuous learning and personal development.

Learning & Development Coordinator

Salary: £35,000 Location: Office-based Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Are you passionate about developing people and creating engaging learning experiences?

We are recruiting for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join a business at an exciting time of growth and transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious L&D professional to make the role their own and have a genuine impact on the future development of the workforce.

Initially, this role will be fully office-based to support collaboration and relationship building across the business. However, there may be opportunities for hybrid working in the future.

The Role

Reporting into the HR team, you'll be responsible for coordinating, developing and enhancing learning and development activities across the organisation. You'll ensure employees have access to the training, tools and support they need to succeed, while helping the business maintain compliance, improve capability and support future growth.
